Captain Poteat, from the Raleigh Police Department, attended the meeting and addressed the Committee's questions in the areas of party noise, traffic calming and gang activity. Captain Poteat will look into why people who call in about homeless people are questioned whether or not they will stand by the homeless person until an officer arrives. He will also look into more radar being used in our area or our area becoming a radar practice area. He will also look at parking police cars in the neighborhood as a traffic calming strategy.

Chad will ask Eric Lamb to reschedule his appearance before the Committee so that at the next meeting Sub-committees can get working.

Respectfully submitted,
